Two students reporting about the English week at NMS 1

Our teachers Ms. Claudia Rainer and Ms. Viktoria Foidl organised a project week with two native speakers to visit the third sports and football class. The two Americans Brandon and Alexander spent an amazing week at our school teaching about the American history and tradition of Thanksgiving. We learned a lot of different things about the US, did sports and also had some cooking lessons.

Brandon even taught us how to play American Football because he is a famous player. The last two days we prepared a lot of delicious food like pumpkin pie, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy …

After the final preparations on Friday we all came together and celebrated a typical American Thanksgiving lunch at our school in Wörgl. We really enjoyed the week speaking English and getting closer to their culture and traditions.
