Healthy Breakfast with the class 1C

In the last couple of English lessons, the class 1C learned about different foods and eating habits. They got to know the words for different types of fruit, vegetables, meat, and other products. The students also learned to say what foods they like and what foods they don’t like. 

But talking about food is one thing. Preparing food and eating it while also speaking English is something else. That is why we decided to bring the whole class to the school kitchen and make some a little breakfast with them. At the same moment, they could also practice their English skills. 

So, what did the students do? Johanna, Narin and Anja cut fruit such as apples, bananas, and oranges for the yogurt. Igor, Dragos, Arthur, Asiya and Dalaa cut vegetables such as carrots, peppers and cucumbers. Aycha, Fatima and Halenur prepared the ham and cheese sandwiches. Justin, Dalaa, Arthur and Asiya prepared the sour cream dip for our vegetables. Cristiana and Justin set the table, folded the napkins, prepared the orange juice and the fruit tea.

Altogether, we than ate our snacks. Our headmaster Gottfried Schneider also joined us for a quick bite. 

All in all, it was a great lesson.
